Our famous NameTrains can be the most unique personalized gift your child gets! Great for birthday gifts or any time you want to celebrate a child's name. Each letter is crafted from the finest Vermont maple wood and stained in vibrant colors.

Letters measure 2-1/2 inches high and approximately 2 inches wide. Wooden letters on wheels connect with magnets to form words or names. Add engine and caboose to have a wonderful keepsake toy.  The NameTrain track is approximately 1-1/2 inches wide.

These award-winning (see awards above) name trains and train sets are compatible with Brio, Thomas and other wooden train track systems.

Our unique wooden Railblox are designed to specifically work with our NameTrain system. They are perfect for bridges, tunnels and other track construction.

At a basic level, there are great maple building blocks, no track is necessary for a little builder to have a lot of hands-on fun.

Special note: If you are intending to match these with name train cars you already have, please be advised that we produced a previous line of natural letters that were larger than these. The two lines will connect with each other but they don't match well. The older line was about 3" high and was sold from 1988 to 2000. The current line, standing about 2-1/4" high, has been produced since 1993. The older letters are no longer available.

While much is being made of the dangers of imported products, there are alternatives. We craft a wide range of wooden toys, games, and gifts made right here in Vermont, USA. We follow American standards of product safety, employee safety, and environmental protection. The shortcuts of doing it any other way are not what Maple Landmark is about.

Product Safety and Quality

The majority of our products are toys and we take toy safety seriously. On the technical side, we follow both the US Consumer Product Safety Commission rules and the voluntary standards ASTM F-963. These guidelines govern small parts, sharp points, chemical makeup, and many other aspects to avoid hazards.
